The renderer has received a variety of new effects, features and optimizations. Player movement has been significantly improved with dodging enhancements and bug fixes. Antilag code has been tweaked for another improvement on it's consistency on hi and low ping servers. Bots have received vastly improved CTF ai code as well. Alien Arena is a freeware online deathmatch game with fast and furious action for Windows and Linux!

The game runs on the CRX engine, and features modern effects such as real-time per-pixel lighting and shadows, GLSL shaders, light bloom, reflective surfaces and much more, while still being able to run on even modest systems. The game includes a built in, as well as external server browser and chat client. Players can look up their stats online, chat with other players, and become part of a growing community.

Alien Arena: Reloaded Edition: This is a major release of this game, with many new features, and a veritable truckload of new high quality content. Every aspect of the game has been improved upon and expanded, from the engine, to the game code, weaponry, and overall game play.
