Recently, when I close a window in IE 11, the corresponding icon on the menu bar does not close. It just sits there with the spinning progress icon running. Even if I click on the X on the icon, the window does not close. Eventually things will lock-up and the only way to close IE is using Task Manager. This has started in the past days so I am guessing that it has something to do with an update.
Any solutions for the problem? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. As near as I can tell, I would have to shut down all add-ons individually and then restart them if this is not the problem.
Is this correct? Also, you want me to reset IE which will eliminate all changes that I have made and this may or may not solve the problem. I have uploaded a screen shot of what is happening.
