CS2 Creative Suites 2 , which Adobe previously offered for free, is no longer available for download. There is only one version of Photoshop available for free, a 7-day trial version. There is no doubt that Photoshop CS2 is a powerful program, and if it works as you need it to, it is. You can see the Photoshop version history on Wikipedia for a list of the many changes since CS2. There is no longer a developer for Adobe Photoshop CS2.
The latest version of Photoshop 20, however, is available. The program will allow you to use all of its features and receive updates once you have purchased it. There is no chance of that happening. Modern computer operating systems do not support CS2. Several years ago, the activation servers for it were taken offline. If your computer is capable of supporting CS2, you will need to download a new copy of the program and use the serial number provided on the web site.
A video that went viral on January 8th was an unintentional act by Adobe. The Creative Suite 2 Photoshop, Illustrator, the whole works library was publicly available for download by users who found serial numbers and links. I waited until the program was downloaded and then restarted my PC, scanned my PC with my virus scanner and Malwarebytes, but they could not find any problems. Can you check this and possibly send me the correct link from the direct download if it still exists?

I remember that Adobe did a whoops and an about face on these programs after the initial release.
At the present time, you can't install any Adobe program, including those still available on DVD, without having an Adobe account and being logged into it. I"m not really the final authority on the integrity of the mirror, or what Adobe might have done to disable the download between the time long ago when they made this goof up and now. Our staff wouldn't knowingly give you a bad link, and they always post warnings about programs which attempt to make additional installs, or have additional payloads included.
